RocoMamas Langenhoven Park

RocoMamas Langenhoven Park is all about building the best Smash Burgers, serving mofo wings and getting messy with some serious ribs.

Poor overall service, the waiter did not offer any drink refills, and was eager to clear the table asap even though the place was empty, most food options are overpriced, except for a few salads, the food is really only junk. My husband and I returned to Phat Chef Diner on Saturday, 8 December 2018 for breakfast. The breathtaking surroundings were the perfect place to say our goodbyes to the Drakensberg region after a three week holiday. The breakfast items on the menu were listed separately and my husband could compile his own meal. He had two fried eggs, a pork sausage, boerewors and a crumpet stack. The eggs were perfectly cooked to order. He thoroughly enjoyed each bite of his meal. He also had a cup of filter coffee and I had a latte which was excellent. When we wanted to settle the bill the credit card machine had a glitch due to bad weather. The manageress, Jenny (I think) wrote their banking details at the back of our receipt and said that we could do an electronic transfer once we are back home. (Fortunately the card machine worked with a final try). This sweet gesture from a complete stranger impressed us immensely and we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the trust you bestowed upon us. The food at Phatt Chef is wholesome and homemade and the setting is spectacular with magnificent views but the cherry on top is the management with hearts of gold.Dear zerwickrenatevictorThank you for such a wonderful review. I am please to see your husband enjoyed his breakfast and you both enjoyed your coffees. We like to think that there are still good honest people out there. We hope to see you again soon. Pop in for lunch next time our burgers are to die for.Kind Regards Jenna

The Pickled Pig Ale House

They have some issue with either a food or liquor licence, so we couldn’t get a drink before 10am, and we didn’t want to eat a meal, but when we returned a bit later, we had a beer and a cider. Both were reasonably priced, especially the beer.Very impressed with the buttons on the table that allows you to communicate with your waiter.I can see myself spending a few hours there drinking a few drinks. Very nice vibe.
