Where to start?Choice of drinks for aperitifs, brilliant. Service - attentive, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable...Food- extraordinary. Probably the best meal I have eaten in France and I've eaten a few at excellent restaurants including a few Michelin starred ones. The fusion of flavours set it apart. So often the French are so parochial but this was the best of French with some additional flavour. Setting was amazing. We have a 6 year old and she had the steak with chips and veg, yes veg in a restaurant in France- incroyable. She ate the lot! Can't fault this place on any front. Keep up the great work and see you again in 2 years.

We came here on a warm Sunday evening after an afternoon of light drinking in need of some carbs to satisfy our hunger and weâre glad we chose this restaurant in the town centre.Under different circumstances I may have tried their Vietnamese offerings but every one of us (bar one who had lamb shank) chose their home made burger with roast potatoes which was delicious and exactly what we needed. It was very busy for a Sunday evening as people were being turned away, so we were glad we arrived before the rush to enjoy cold beers and a decent bottle of red while we ate and watched the world go by.

We had a nice romantic dinner in this former train station âLa petite gareâ which has been nicely redecorated. The terrace is next to the railway line which was discontinued (lovely big trees next to the railway route). The dishes are of somewhat varying quality but overall quite tasty. Service is good and friendly too. A nice spot for a romantic summertime dinner.
