Metepec (Spanish: (help·info)) is a city and municipality in the State of Mexico in Mexico and is located directly to the east of the state capital, Toluca, at an altitude of 2,635 metres (8,645 ft) above sea level. The centre of Mexico City lies some 50 km further to the east. The name Metepec comes from Náhuatl meaning hill of the maguey plants. However, it is also known in the Matlatzinca language as "Nepinta-Tuhi" meaning 'people of corn land' and in the Otomi language as "Ntaguada".

TenÃamos un par de aÃ±os sin venir a este lugar a desayunar y no ha cambiado mucho. Recomendado para venir en familia, pareja, amigos. Solo consideren, que por la ubicaciÃ³n, es necesario dejar el auto en valet o bien, en el estacionamiento pÃºblico que estÃ¡ a un costado cruzando la avenida. Es un lugar limpio, acogedor con decoraciÃ³n sencilla y una carta, que sin ser extensa, permite variedad para cumplir con un buen desayuno; opciones vegetarianas y menÃº infantil, situaciÃ³n que agradezco aunque no lleve a mi peque. Las conchas rellenas deliciosas, imperdibles para abrir boca con un cafÃ© lechero, y de ahÃ darse vuelo a escoger el plato principal. El plato de fruta, lleva Yogurt natural y miel, suficiente para dejar espacio a lo que sigue. En esta visita probÃ© unos chilaquiles poblanos con arrachera y no necesite mÃ¡s para quedar satisfecha. ProbÃ© un poco de los huevos en salsa al horno, acompaÃ±ados de molleyes y me permito recomendarles ambas opciones. Bien presentados los platos y personal atento y dispuesto a brindar un buen servicio.
