In the pretty town of Kawaguchiko under Mt Fuji, this izakaya is special little place with friendly staff, great food and drinks list. Ryan our server, who has escaped from California, was friendly and helpful. The Japanese owner was a sashimi wizard and the other dishes were really good too. Sadly it was closed last night, Monday, so we could only go there for one evening meal. I wish we had a place like this in Australia!

Came here for a quick lunch with my family, we were most pleasantly surprised!Ambience: 5/5Cleanliness: 5/5Customer Service: 5/5Quality of Food: 5/5Value for Money: 5/5Totally love this place. Unassuming, quiet, but packed in an orderly manner with tourists. We found this at random, so it adds to the joy. Ambience is lovely, price is very reasonable for the quality of food, we are pleasantly surprised, highly recommend to all to come to this place!

In the middle of Kanpai Dori (drinking street), you'll find this super nice bar/restaurant ! It has two floors. On the first floor you'll have a great opportunity to talk with the master, Doan ! He's super welcoming and sociable, and always happy to help with some advise so if you're visiting, don't hesitate to ask ! The food is super tasty, I particularly like the Masadon Burger ! But everything you'll order here will be super good. The chili fries are great too and he serves Pho now too for those who want something a little lighter. The drinking card offers a variety of drinks, beers, shochu, highballs, jello shots, etc. ! He also serves very tasty Horchata. The atmosphere is very relaxed and good for friends, couples, business but also solo, as people here are super friendly. Definitely advise coming to Masadon !
