We travelled from Albion twice in a week to eat here because we loved the food and the atmosphere; service and food was very good even when they had a problem with their electricity one evening.Duck, swordfish, mussels and red snapper (quite bony) all very good. Creamed spinach to die for.

The setting is simple but elegant. Nicolas who served us was knowledgeable on local food and was able to explain the various styles of Mauritius cooking. We ordered Fish Vindaye, Rougaille Sausage and Chicken Curry. These were served with rice, black lentil sauce and because there were no pickles the chef prepared a fresh mango and carrot salad. Each dish was well prepared and packed full of its own unique flavour. It seems that the chef Max has extensive experience in local cuisine and also that of neighbouring islands.Overall we were very satisfied with the attentive service, tasty food and inexpensive bill at the end. Worth a try.

The restaurant has a varied selection of drinks and food. The courses were tasty; generally nicely presented however cook was not accurate for the meat.Service was ok and can surely improve with more attention to details.There is a kart track on the premises, it can be fun to participate as a couple or with a group of friends.
