I dined here my first night in Tokyo. Definitely a highlight of my two weeks around Japan. The food was amazing, a taste sensation! Chefs really made it fun as well. Wine pairing was also great. Highly recommend this dinner.Photos...Cuban sandwich, t-bone, apple strudel. 3 of the 14 tapas I tried for dinner. A hundred-year-old zelkova beam and a mosaic wall. The restaurant, with its array of Japanese and Western antique furniture, has an atmosphere where art-nouveau and Japanese style meet, and it is just like a museum. Not only does the counter feature a hot
It was our first time here at Ginza Ukai-Tei and the restaurant was just lovely from the beginning to the end. The entrance was amazing with a nice red carpet and fun decorations. Since our party has eight people, we were given a private table. They usually required everyone to order the same course in this table but gave us an exception since we had a number of elderly family members. Both menus are excellent and of course the more expensive dinner course features better quality ingredients like truffles, blue lobster, and better beef. The dessert is the same - Christmas strawberry cake. LIke many high class teppanyaki restaurant, you went to a different section/room for dessert. I highly recommend Ukai-Tei and will definitely return in the future.

Every Bill Grangerâs restaurant reflects the spirit we like to think of as âAustralianâ: sunny, easy-going and generous. Bill opened his first restaurant in Sydneyâs Darlinghurst in 1993. It soon became loved for its legendary breakfasts, served at the fa
Food was lovely and definitely gluten free options available. Whilst the food was a little overpriced vs. elsewhere (and the usual Bill's prices) the drinks were extortionate - tea is 1,000 yen and matcha late with almond milk was 1,100yen which is a good 500yen more than everywhere else which is why I'm not giving it 4 stars. Dear wilsonbourne,Thank you for coming to bills and for taking the time to write us a review.I am glad to hear that you enjoyed our gluten free options and found our food lovely. As you have already mentioned, the prices at our Ginza restaurant is a higher price compared to other bills restaurants, as this restarant is located in the main Ginza district next to famous jewellery & luxury brands, which is one of the most expensive areas in Japan. This makes the view from our restaurant really lovely (especially at night!), but at a price.I agree with you that if food is the main priority, it would be better to visit our other locations like Omotesando or Odaiba, where you can enjoy the same fresh food, a more casual atmosphere and wallet-friendlier prices.Once again, thank you for your feedback and we hope to drop by our other restaurants!Sincerely,Management Team
