This French restaurant is in Hotel Europe, near the harbour gate of Huis Ten Bosch. Thanks to the staff of our hotel we were able to book a table for Christmas Eve. One thing to note is that there is a dress code and all men would need to wear a jacket. The restaurant can rent you one if you don't, however. The setting is one of European style, with live music as background, while the staff are very attentive and try to explain each course to us, even though his English may not be very proficient, he is trying his best which I very appreciate. We had the Noel set which has 8 courses including dessert and coffee/tea. The setting of the plates and the quality of the food was good, and I particularly like the fish in roti sauce, which brought out the flavors of the Kintokidai. But other dishes are also good in taste. The wine here is not cheap, but I still order a Ramonet Saint-Aubin 1er Cru to accompany our meal. Everyone enjoy the dinner very much, and despite the price it is a good choice if you want to have a change of Japanese meals in your stay.
