Overall experience at Le Pigeon was superb!!! The food was amazing. I got the beef cheek which was really tender and flavorful. It went nicely with the corn mixed in the dish. The dessert was of course the foie gras profiteroles which was so decadent and delicious! The ice cream, caramel and powder all had some sort of foie gras inserted into the ingredient. It was fantastic and a must get. The service was wonderful from the hostess to my server. I shared with my server that I was pregnant and had some limited diet restrictions. At the end of the meal, a nice little present was given which was so unexpected and the nicest gesture. Thank you Le Pigeon!!!!!!!!

Little Bird Bistro

My husband and I were staying in a hotel just outside the Pearl and wanted to walk to someplace for a casual dinner. We stumbled across a review for The Little Bird Bistro and were able to get a reservation for that evening. There’s seating for about a dozen on the balcony and twice that many on the ground floor, with another ten or so seats on the bar. The menu is not large but there’s enough variety to meet a wide range of tastes. The wine list is also pretty unique with an abundance of pride about the “house wines” created for the restaurant. Selection is wide and reasonably priced.I had two small plates for dinner, a delicious mushroom salad appetizer and a small salmon pasta for my entree. My husband loved his arugula salad and cod entree. We shared a chocolate peanut butter dessert to cap off a terrific meal. We would highly recommend the Little Bird Bistro for its top notch service and delicious food.
