We had a wonderful dinner at the beautiful French Restaurant. We had a reservation and they gave us thus beautiful large table, near the fireplace. The menu was extensive and so were the wines. I had the salmon/ crab carpaccio as well as the Sea Bass, everything was cooked to perfection. Some of the other dishes that my family and friends had were the pastas, duck, lamb and chicken.

We were taken here by our local hosts, who recommended the place. It is situated in a beautiful tranquil forest, and is a typical log building. The decor inside is very nice, but I donât have enough knowledge to know if it is typically Siberian.We were treated to a range of Siberian delicacies, again on recommendation by our hosts. The food was well prepared, very well presented, and (to me as a visitor at least) a great culinary experience. The stroganini (shaved frozen raw fish) was an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed! We were presented with so many different tastes, all new to me, so it is difficult to pick any favorites.The atmosphere was cosy, the staff friendly (and probably well versed in English - but our host dis all the ordering, so I did not engage). Before this visit I have only heard about typical Siberian hospitality, but here I have experienced it! Again, I have no idea what the locals think, but for me as a visitor, it was really something to write home about!Highly recommended!

Looking at the reviews I was expecting much better. Terrace is closed until 10am...a bit crazy knowing that summer is short in Novosibirsk. Food average and overpriced. Avoid the continental breakfast: 1 yoghurt 2 toasts small cramble eggs and one old croissant without jam. Eclairs are with too much cream and sugar. Breakfast at Marriott hotel is far better and cheaper (free for kids). Service is average. Deco is nice and an imitation of Laduree but not the same quality for the food.
