Our daughter held her impromptu birthday celebration here in the summer. We are down visiting so brought the family down on their recommendation. Lovely selection of both sweet and savoury fillings. Our grandson enjoyed his taster of Nutella Crepe.A first for Seaford and I'm sure that it will continue to be a success. Good value and highly recommended! We will return on our next visit! Well done.

We found the menu choices in the early evening to be really excellent - something for every one's preference. The cheery, knowledgeable and efficient young girl who showed us to our table was friendly and professional. We chose the early evening menu for we had a young child with us and the kid's presents kept him busy and occupied for the whole meal. Our starters and main course were exactly just as we would have wished for and the creme caramel was the best I have ever had, anywhere. Altogether it was a highly successful and enjoyable experience and without doubt we will return 'tho we live some distance from Lewes.

We found Bistro Gourmand by chance on Wednesday lunchtime after discovering that The Trellis was closed. What a piece of luck! The three of us enjoyed widely differing meals, all freshly prepared and delicious, served at a leisurely pace while we enjoyed the sunshine in the outside seating area. Definitely a place to come back to, as we want to sample some of the other wonderful-sounding (and very French) items on the menu. The interior of the restaurant looks very inviting, and we though about coming one evening. We were told, however, that for an evening meal we would have to book weeks in advance. And the prices are not ridiculous.
