The chef/owner (Nicole) and her husband (Senator) pay attention to every detail. Food is carefully prepared and delicious. Food is French with a Northern California influence. Excellent desserts too. Service is attentive and personal. They take great pride in, and are enthusiastic about their restaurant. Small restaurant, so reservations are a good idea. A little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area.

When in New York, my friend and I had the opportunity to dine with Linda. She served an amazing menu of Congolese food. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and our hosts were just delightful. We had great conversation and great food! Our starter course was a delicious salad with fish, next we enjoyed fufu with sweet potato greens - absolutely wonderful! Our entree bone-in chicken over rice with a sauteed onion and mustard sauce. We finished with strawberry crepes which were light and delectable. Overall, a fantastic experience, which I would repeat in a heartbeat.

We accidentally went a few streets north of where we meant to go. This restaurant was right outside of the subway entrance. It has a cool feel. It is very small and it was a little cramped between tables, but it's a really nice restaurant and we all enjoyed our food a lot. I had a steak and everyone else had burgers. All 4 entrees were served with field greens tossed in a delicious vinaigrette. Three burgers, a steak, two sodas, and two glasses of beer were $130 before tip. The burgers were on the low end of the menu, price-wise at $16/burger before adding $2.50 for cheese.
