In a city of great pizza, it’s hard to stand out. New Pizza Pizzeria has been in business for over 60 years and is an old time favorite with great pizza. They serve the crust crispy with fresh sauce and cheese. It’s perfect.

Great, messy, tasty falafel pitas and more. They always seem to have a nice crowd of regulars. And despite the hole in the wall look, they have a grade "A" and even a decent website with online ordering.

A few steps away from 104 Station, El Cafetal has been my go-to-bakery whenever I'm famished whether I am just about to leave in the morning or about to go home at night. They open early in the morning and closes late at night. They offer the best pastries and bread. I always buy the small cheese bread and the name doesn't really suit the actual size because it is big and at a very affordable cost. The have a variety of sweet to not-so-sweet pastries and sometimes they have the tamales. This bakery is highly recommended for those who live and pass by 104th street along Jamaica ave. Kids and kids at heart will surely enjoy it.
