We searched for an alternative to 'Off the Hook' fish and chips and was glad we came across Captain Cooks fish & chips. The fish, scallops and squid was all fresh, and crumbed & cooked really really well. The wait was short around 15 minutes, service was quick and friendly, eftpos available, the teamwork in the kitchen was cooperative and super efficient. Parking is just in the front of the Holiday Village near reception, open only for a couple hours in the evening so get in quick. Definitely the better fish & chips in the area

We were talking to a local who recommended this location. Itâs important that you ask for premium fish and then you will get a Huge piece of Reef Fish Red Emporer and it was 1 inch thick.You can have it crumbed or in batter and the chips were good. The fish was $9 a piece well worth the money. Try it

We are from here numerous times during our visit, each time wowing us with something else. Best :-- friendly, acknowledged, thorough service- moved other customers on for wearing simple bikini attire in a calm & respectful manner- prices are very reasonable for all products- sexy coffee, like their sign says, smooth & delicious- best pizzas: stone baked, hand made & rolled bases, don't leave you bloated or greasy at all. - burgers are so fresh of fish & steak, best burgers we've eaten in a long time- eftpos available - open for brunches around 9:00am onwards, lunch and dinnerOnly deducted a point as we wish they were open earlier for breakky, but nonetheless the best eatery we've come across in Agnes/1770, highly recommend and will be certainly returning next time
