The best option for the rest of the people who travel on our roads, through a first level infrastructure covering their expectations in franchises and restaurants.
If you are driving from the Mexican-US border to Mexico City and beyond (via Laredo, Monterrey, Matehuala, San Luis Pototsi) plan a rest stop at Parador El Potosino on Route 57. The rest stop provides free and clean restrooms, an internet cafe, and gift shop. Skip the Papa Johns Pizza and Church´s Chicken and enjoy Mexican comfort food at Restuarante Potosino. Cafeteria style, but very enjoyable chicken mole, barbecoa, caldo de res...all freshly prepared and served by a very friendly staff. Outdoor seating available to watch fellow road warriors come and go. Buen Viaje!Thank you for your comment, at the Parador El Potosino we are always improving the service for you and your family come back soon, thanks for taking the time of an opinion, greetings and good trip.

I loved this place's food, it's not just another Japa-Mexicanish to go restaurant, it tastes so different to anything I had tried before in this city, I'd definitely come back to try more. It took a while to have everything ready so if you're in a rush you'd better be patient, I promise it will be totally worth it.
