We grew up eating at the Ox in the 1960's, moved and haven't been here in 22 years. We continually thought of Tommy's and, of course, the Golden Ox. Yum. We shared the famous pastrami. Better be hungry if you eat a whole one by yourself. plenty of meat.The only difference is the bread is shorter and they used to put that juicy meat on the flat top and crisp up the ends. This way it didn't get the roll mushy. Same good mustard & pickles.Overall........still as we remember. Thanks for the memories.

I was expecting to find older ladies working inside but they are young and friendly. I ordered the Huevos a la Mexicana my favorite breakfast dish with flour tortillas and they give you plenty of tortillas. The food was very good and plenty of it which kept me full all day. I love all the Mexican artwork they have inside where you sit down to eat.

We made this stop after our hike. Itwas located right behind the bus stop. Surprisingly fresh sandwiches. Not a huge variety, but for a quick snack it hit the mark. A good option if you are trying to avoid the hotel restaurants.
