This Subway restaurant is right in the middle of a good-sized shopping center, adjacent to a small pharmacy, Safeway and multiple fun stores. It's clean, the service is great, and the drive-thru extremely convenient. The seating area inside is on the small side so just grab and go to eat in your car or back at your desk or home. McKinleyville residents are so excited to have a relatively healthy chain restaurant choice!

If you have been to Subway before, you know what you will get. Various breads and fillings, including meats or veggie patties. I will eat here in a hurry on the road, but usually am on my way home (nearby) and would rather eat there.
Our kids live near Arcata and took us here last week when we visited them. It's a food truck in a parking lot with several tables out front. Big menu to choose from. Most of us had various burgers, the kids had corn dogs. My cheddar bacon burger was outstanding. My wife got the veggie burger which she enjoyed. We got fries and onion rings also. The fries were battered, then fried. Sooo good! Onion rings were amazing. There were several people who had ordered in advance and came by to pick up. Quick service coupled with great food makes for a repeat visit on our next trip up there.
