the restaurant has been newly renovated. my favorite is the beef wanton noodle soup with fried tofu and bagoong kangkong (swamp cabbage) on the side. the service is quite confusing and the lines (0rdertakers) get long really quick.

The KFC is just outside the main gate of the University of the Philippines at Los Banos. Very popular with students. Nice and bright, and lively place. Chicken and other food consistently good and reliable.

This McDonald's branch beats Starbuck's for over-staying customers who don't care if the place is already full. Most of these customers are students who will order the cheapest value meal available or soda or sundae and stay and chat or read books (maybe) or use their tablets/laptops even if the servers already cleaned their tables for other customers. We tried asking a group of students (I think) if they're done after their table was cleared. And the response was classic... with smirks on their faces, 2 of them stood up and ordered soda for the group! That's it, soda! I hope these branch survive in spite of these kind of customers they have...
