This is the first restaurant from the company MR Grill â the creator of hot dogs, who love the millions of Ukrainians, and the supplier of sausages to all the top petrol stations in Ukraine. Mr. Grill Hotdogs & Burgers is a unique establishment, the menu
Our visit to Mr Grill was a really good one and we were truly satisfied with the superbly crafted burgers stuffed full of flavour and filling. The Camembert burger was very well-received whilst the classic double stack was extremely tasty, accompanied by tasty, crisp fries and excellent aioli sauce. The disappointment at Mr Grill lay in the delivery and service of our food and drinks. We barely had any positive interaction with our waitress, eye-contact and the advertised appetiser of âAsparagusâ is actually basically a small pot full of green beans. This might just be an English translation but itâs well off the mark as vegetable quality control goes! All is all, we had great burgers. Both were hearty, juicy and plentiful. Our service left much to be desired, though.

Someone has described this place as being a Ukrainian McDonaldâs, which is a little unfair. The salads are good, the Kiev is good and really the quality is not at all bad. Having said which these places depend on which one you visit and the time of day. Our advise is to have a look before you queue!

We went for lunch on a Monday afternoon. It was pretty busy, but all Puzatas are. We had a chicken cutlet, cherry and potato pierogi, apricot mlyni (blitzes), apple strudle and coke. We were disappointed that they were out of kraut pierogi right at lunch. They had just filled the chicken we took. Everything we ordered was very cold, barely room temperature. The chicken was pretty good and the cherry pirogi were tart and fresh. It was just difficult to appreciate cold pierogi as the dough gets tough in a hurry. The strudle- like desert was marginal, It was more like an apple filling in a poor quality paper-ish dough - not flaky at all.The coke of course was about the same temperature as the meal. The drinks sit in what looks like a cooler, but it's really used as just a display shelf. Puzata needs to do a better job keeping hot foods hot and drinks cold. Previous visits at other locations were better.
