The village is in the southwest of the town of Kingsbury, on US Route 4. Hudson Falls is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2000 census, the village had a population of 6,927. It was the county seat of Washington County until 1994, when the county seat was moved to Fort Edward.

If you have fond memories of visiting Jack's with your parents, you will be pleased that the red hot sauce, the car service and reasonable prices are the same. What isn't the same are no indoor seating and a opening time of 4 pm. As a seasonal business, be sure to verify if they are open as the fall approaches. Zack's is in my personal top four dog places with sauce in the Glen's Falls area.

This place never changes, Great Hot Dogs and great service make it the best. Its a genera unto itself. Best Hot Dog in town. Not a Texas Wiener but a lovely inexpensive hot dog with a great meat sauce. I order them with extra Works. I'm not excited about the fries but the onion rings rock. My girl friend does not eat hot dogs, but she loves the Greek salads. The fish sandwich is good too. Fresh baked cookies and pies are always a great way to finish the meal. Still with such good hot dogs why eat anything else!

I decided to get some hot dogs and french fries today, it was raining and they had only 1 other customer. I also got french fries, the hot dogs were very good,however the fries were nearly raw, they must have been put in the cooking oil for less than 2 minutes, I have never encountered anyone who would serve such under cooked fries, these were by far the worst tasting french fries I have ever tasted.
