Columbia is a census-designated place in Howard County, Maryland, United States, and is one of the principal cities of the Baltimore metropolitan area. It is a planned community consisting of 10 self-contained villages. It began with the idea that a city could enhance its residents' quality of life. Creator and developer James W. Rouse saw the new community in terms of human values, rather than merely economics and engineering. Opened in 1967, Columbia was intended to not only eliminate the inconveniences of then-current subdivision design, but also eliminate racial, religious, and class segregation.

I love this place. I first tried it 2 weeks ago and have been back 3 times already. The salad wraps are so good! I love having this healthy option of quick food nearby. I feel like there are a lot of restaurants in Columbia but not all good or healthy so this is a must for anyone health conscious like me. I have tried the harvest wrap and make your own and they tasted great. You can get a salad or wrap and it's $8.50 each. It is nice inside too, I was impressed when I first walked in. I recommend this place if you are looking for something tasty, healthy, and quick.

At Jersey Mikeâs, we offer a sub above â one thatâs measured in more than inches or seconds âtil served. We carefully consider every aspect of what we do â every slice, every sandwich, every store â we provide our customers with sustenance and substance t
My husband and I just love this place. The ingredients are definitely high quality and really fresh. It's always extremely busy around lunch time, but for very good reason. The food and service are top notch. The bread is just so perfectly crusty and delicious, and I love that you have different sizes to choose from. I've found that the mini is just the right size for being full without being miserable. We also like Primo Hoagies in Columbia, but prefer the bread at Mike's. I think the Jersey Shore is truly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had - and so reasonably priced. It's got ham, cappacuolo, and provolone with any fixings you want (Mike's way is AWESOME). Unlike other sandwich shops Mike's is very generous with the meat and cheese. The filling to bread ratio is just perfect. We had lunch there yesterday and it was less than $13 for 2 of us. Hard to beat, especially for such high quality sammies. We'll be back very soon!

The Italian sub is always my go-to. The bread at Potbelly is always fresh, as are the veggies. I like that my sub is made to order, but I wish they would add pickles to their "fixins."
