Where to eat Bar food in Castleisland: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This is a new business in Castleisland and being a fan of Indian food we've had two meals from their recently.I wasn't sure what to expect as I've had terrible Indian cuisine in Ireland. But it was excellent, and what I would call 'proper' Indian cuisine. We tried the Lamb Jalfrezi, Lamb Biryani and Lamb Chilli Masala. They were all as good as each other, tasty well cooked and the meat was tender. They put in free Poppadoms and Chutneys, and the staff were friendly and had the food ready when they said it would be.A visiting friend said they'd recommend their food, that's high praise indeed as he originates from Bradford where Indian food is renound! We were also able to buy Pizza and Chips for the kids alongside the Indian food, which is handy. They only do takeaway and have no seating to eat in, but that's the only thing missing.
