This is our go-to place to rest and eat a snack after getting back from the slopes. Overall the crepes and the toasts are great and the hot chocolate is delicious. Also they have some tables outside where you can enjoy the afternoon sun.

Searching for vegan food in Spain can be a challenge, and sometimes compromise is necessary. Fortune favours the brave and we were rewarded by skirting past a pair of feisty door-side hounds and entering this busy and cozy bar. San Miguel 00 (yes, dry too for a month) was served with a hot and tasty bean stew tapas and we resolved to try the dinner menu next evening. My veggie burger came with a decent filling, and the tomato and green salads were both excellent. But top of the pops was my freshly made (and not very vegan!) tortilla. Marga is Spanish and so naturally omnivorous, and she too delighted in her meal, the butifarra sausage, made of pork with pistachio and truffle, being her pick.We ate here twice, and popped in for a post ski beer most days, the bearded proprietor (we presumed) remembering our order from our 2nd visit, and all the staff being welcoming and attentive.I have to say the standard of service across Baqueira was excellent, the skiing way beyond my expectations (having previously been spoilt in Coruchevel, Val D'Isere and others of that ilk), and food and drink of the highest quality is available if you look. Booking advisable at all decent eateries.I will return.

A friend brought me here to eat "the best bocadillos in Spain". I haven´t tried that many to say, but for sure aside form being delicious, they are enormous, even if you ask for the half size. Owners are super nice and friendly.
