Being a small town there are not a lot of fast food places so we were pleased to find a Subway where you can always count on finding healthy choices provided by great service.

Sal's Famous Pizza & Donairs

If your looking for something greasy, like a burger or fries, this is where you go.I wanted something relatively healthy, so I had the Chicken Donair ($9.00), because it was made with chicken breast. I also chose Tzaziki sauce instead of garlic sauce. This was one of the worst donairs of any kind I have had. The Chicken was pre cooked and refrigerated, then heated on a grill. The Chicken was dry and tough. The Tzaziki sauce was very bland. The veggies looked like they needed to be revived. I was not impressed. The prices here were on the high side and the service was mediocre.

The food was prepared in a timely fashion and the quality was generally in keeping with the standard one comes to expect at A & W. However, the staff are quite immature and needs further training...- The person taking our order spoke so fast I think she should consider becoming an auctioneer. She did not make any eye contact, and was just in a rush to get me out of her face; in spite of the fact that I was the only one standing in line.- The cleaner was using the same towel (or shirt.. possibly pant leg) to clean off several tables and the chairs - transferring every imaginable virus from table to table to table....
