I had never been to a captain D's in my life, however my mother and I visit the one on Cummings at least twice a week! Not only are you treated like family you have smiles, service and "have a blessed day before you"leave. The food is consistent and fresh! If I were the owner of this franchise I would give them all a raise! Miss Denise stands out, she is kind always happy, but I adore all of them! Great affordable food and beautiful family around you! The view is amazing!

Finally a place to get vanilla frozen custard and it's really delicious! My only complaint about Swirled, Sweet Frog and similar places that it's really expensive even for a small cup without toppings. It's a special treat and the numerous flavor offerings is terrific.

It is what it is: It's a Subway. And, actually, there are three in Abingdon, so I'm not sure which one I'm reviewing here, but I've eaten at all three and they all seem decent.
