Struggled to find something interesting to eat here. My companion enjoyed the draught beer and I liked the apple cider. We had marinated flounder, octopus carpaccio, and potatoes with cheese and bacon. I know, what a strange combination! Maybe it was just us. The smoking tables were too close to the nonsmoking tables for our comfort.

Designed with contemporary panache, Terrace Brasserie's majestic floor-to-ceiling glass windows bathe the interiors with natural light. Strategically arranged tables provide a dreamy seat to admire the relaxing views of Ishikari Bay and the Otaru Marina.
Our first meal in Hokkaido after a long flight from Taipei. Staying at this hotel for two nights and thought we would try their buffet. Very reasonably priced at 2000yen per adult. They have fresh cut rib roast, fresh whole fish, good salad and desert selections and king crab miso soup. We are picky eaters and we were satisfied. Only gripe I have is we're in Otaru and they just gotta provide a bigger selection of seafood!Thank you for visiting our Terrace Brasserie. We are delighted at hearing you enjoyed. We are going to revise our menu regularly and serve various dishes to our customers We hope we will see you in the future. Thank you.
We had a fantastic dinner, the food was superb, and the service really excellent. The owner and chef was the best host. Great bay for money as well. Although a French inspired the Japanese influences were inspired. Definitely worth a visit.
