The town is a member of the Calgary Regional Partnership, a cooperative of municipalities within the Calgary Region. Okotoks has emerged as a bedroom community of Calgary. According to the 2016 Census, the town has a population of 28,881, making it the largest town in Alberta.

This is not something you'd expect to find in a smaller community like Okotoks. It offers an experience which is authentic, with great food, but not in any way pretentious. The owners provide the service and it's friendly and fun. Also efficient. The food is also delicious, I guess I should mention that. I'd recommend this place to anyone. It's worth seeking out.

Excellent fish and homemade chips in a very quaint house made into a restaurant. We could have done with a smaller size for our 11 year old granddaughter.Thank you for the wonderful comments and the fabulous five stars. For take out we do wrap in paper

John has the best perogies around. I'm a big fan of the pizza perogies and the classic. We eat them a lot, and also get the polish sausage in a regular basis. Don't miss out. He's at Granary Road market!
