I was here for a business trip and my coworker and I were in the mood for Italian food. We found Vito's after a quick "Google" search and took a Lyft to the restaurant. First impression was a little questionable as the front door access seemed a little odd. When we walked in, we saw the restaurant had quite a few patrons and the dishes were abundant and colorful. The woman who greeted us was so friendly and accommodating, that we felt like old friends. The food we selected came from an abundant menu with plenty of options to choose from. I had the chicken Marsala, with broccoli and pasta with the house red sauce, and my coworker had a shrimp and pasta dish. Both were very good. Wine selection is decent albeit a little pricey but we still chose to have a glass each. We understand the location will soon change to across the street, likely to provide more seating for this very popular restaurant. If you want to find a nice family style restaurant away from the Brickyard, make your way to Vito's. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious food! Excellent spaghetti and the most superb anchovies I have ever eaten. Wine list is all Italian wines and our choice was outstanding. The waiter wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree, but he did his job well enough. You can actually have a conversation in this restaurant (i.e. it is not trendy noisy) while enjoying a delightful evening. I highly recommend this restaurant.

La Baguette Bistro & Bakery

After making reservations we stopped in for Brunch on a Saturday. The host was on the phone when we came in, that's Ok. She hung up ,glanced at us and said, "two"? We told her we had reservations, she didn't reply, picked up menus, turned and walked into the dining room. We hesitated, followed her to the table and watched as she set the menus down and walked away. During our meal I saw her seat numerous customers in similar fashion. I focus on this because I feel the initial greeting can set the tone for the whole dining experience. That aside, our server Carson saved the day. Very pleasant, professional, friendly. Five stars for Carson! The food came out very hot, fresh, good portion size. I had the Bonjour Paris breakfast croissant. It comes with potatoes, excellent! My husband had the Madame Croque, his only complaint was too much cheese. (Is that even possible?) When we left there was no one at the host area, no one thanked us for coming or said good-bye. I mention this because it's unusual. One other mention: As popular as this restaurant is, I'd love to see them "freshen" it up a little. My menu had a smudge of jam on it and a ledge near us (cutout in wall for art) had quite a bit of dust on it. The wall our table was up against had a few scrapes and needed to be wiped down. Overall, good food, great server, needs a good once over.
