Stopped in Tooele to see the Railroad Museum. We appreciated that this family restaurant is open on Sunday. My friend's chef salad had abundant roast beef. I enjoyed scrambled eggs & pancakes. Our waitress gave us the senior discount without our asking -- what a pleasant surprise! Thank you.

Years ago, we used to frequent this place when it was Penny's. Hell, I may have actually been waited upon by Penny....who knows? Back then they had great burgers, good beer and the seedy "whole in the wall" atmosphere that went with. But today, the place is all lit up with florescent lights, no beer, and actually no Coke or Pepsi! (They were out of Colas.) They try to make up for all this with oversized burgers with catchy names appropriate for the locale. The burgers were good; but a but over-creative. I miss the ole "Penny's."

Stopped in for a bite after driving from Wendover. This Dennyâs is located inside a Flying J truck stop. The restaurant is clean and the food is good. My only gripe was that my scrambled eggs came with cheese on top (which I didnât order). My server indicated âthatâs how the eggs are prepared here.â If that is the case, I believe this Dennyâs needs to re-evaluate this procedure as not everyone likes or can eat cheese. My server promptly took them back to be remade. Service is friendly and professional.
