We enjoyed a hearty breakfast at Village Grill. You get a true local, neighborly feel inside with friendly and efficient staff. We ordered a Denver omelette and huevos rancheros and both well very good. Large servings, plenty of hot coffee. Husband said âbest Denver omelette heâs ever hadâ. Good recommendation! Would definitely recommend for any family. Nice atmosphere. Well priced with quick service.

Staying the night in Tehachapi, stopped for early dinner, was liked most Denny's it was good. Service was good, price's are average, gas stations near by, easy to get to on and off freeway.

This place is a little tricky to find, but it's worth the effort. The food reminds me of the 'coffee shops' i grew up with, where people could eat bacon, biscuits and gravy, and chicken-fried steak with enthusiasm. The atmosphere is casual. I was stunned at the omelet options (there's a list. in small print. one entire page. i got the #40 (mushrooms, onions, sour cream) . Portions are large enough that i took the remainder of my omelette home, and had two more filling meals. The service was excellent - sufficiently attentive without hovering. lots of coffee refills. If i didn't live an hour away, i'd probably go there once a week at least. just to try all the omelettes
