We found this place on luck, walking through the narrow back streets of Stuttgart trying to find somewhere to eat. The food was delicious, and presentation was beautiful.

I must admit, I rarely eat at restaurants in hotels. I just like to explore the local establishments, and I like to get out of my hotel usually. This is an exception that I did not regret. The restaurant is accessed by leaving the hotel and walking up a flight of steps, you can not get to it from inside the Le Meridian. It is not a large place, and the coziness adds to its charm. I went to dinner with a work colleague who was celebrating her birthday. We were seated immediately upon entering and presented with menus. The menu, although not extensive has something for virtually everyone. I stared with a greens and goat cheese salad that was spectacular. Was torn between lamb And mushroom risotto. I chose the risotto and was not disappointed. It was full of a variety of fresh mushrooms that had wonderful flavor. The place has a nice wine selection and both of my selections were very good. I would go back here any time.Dear donaldg353,thank you very much for taking the time to share your experiences with us and to review your stay at Le Meridien Stuttgart. We are glad you liked the service provided in our house, and we will surely pass on the feedback to our Management regarding your dinner experience. It would be our pleasure to welcome you again soon and remain with kind regards,Daniel Szabo VeberDuty Manager

Visited this place with my family to get some traditional German food. Seating is outside and it's a very urban environment, so if you're used to restaurants in a big city and can handle the humidity, then you'll appreciate this. Parked on the street and since I didn't have change, the server was good enough to let me borrow a parking permit so I didn't need to feed the meter. Server was great and willing to explain the various dishes. Ordered the tripe stew, German raviolis and schnitzel. While my kids didn't enjoy it as much, I thought it was great. Really liked their potato salad. While food and service was definitely a solid four, the ambiance/weather (especially when it's hot) and credit card is why I held out to 3.5. If the food is the same the next time, I'll bump up to a to a 4.
