We love Denny's; as Brits, Denny's offers a real slice of old-school, unpretentious Americana, with comfort food, reasonable prices and smiley service. Fancy it ain't, welcoming it is, but not all Denny's are created equal and they do vary. This is a good one.We dropped in on a quiet evening, just looking for a quick and easy meal. The nacho platter was huge and really impressive, best I've had in any US chain establishment, and that set the tone for all the food; it wasn't just comforting, it was very very good. Even more impressive was the service; our waiter was a young chap (apologies, didn't get his name) who was friendly, outgoing and attentive, interesting to talk to and who made the single best attempt at a decent cup to tea that we have ever witnessed in the USA. He failed, because the Lipton's tea bags beloved of the States are terrible, weak, insipid things that NO-ONE can make into a decent cup of tea, but he earned 11 out of 10 for effort, and you can't ask for more than that!If I lived locally, I reckon I'd be there twice a week and the size of a house. Recommended.

True jewel in Santa Clarita. This old truck stop serves huge portions of hash browns for breakfast.Been coming here for over 30 years. Always enjoy going off my diet and indulging on the Criss Special, eggs, bacon and hash browns. The grill is covered with potatoes ready to serve. The staff have been working here for years. They are friendly and efficient. They make sure you have an endless cup of coffee.Get there early F/Sa/Su, otherwise youâll have to wait.Great truck stop or diner type food.Bring an appetite.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves while enjoying classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Come in and order t
Nice Denny's very clean and good food. However, the service was barely there. Not sure if it was time of day we went in or if half the staff was gone. 15 minutes to order our food, another 30 minutes to get our food and the waitress came by one after she dropped off our food. Overall I not sure if I would return.
