I've only been to Rio Linda a few times in the past and this was the first time I've eaten there. A friend and I were there and decided to grab some lunch. This place looked interesting, so we made the stop. It's set up like a fast food place, but has a little bit of a diner feel, although the only seating is a few picnic tables outside. We ordered a cheese-steak sandwich and an Italian beef sandwich. Also got a side of cheese fries and a banana shake. Everything was great. The sandwiches had great flavor and seasoning. The cheese fries had loads of cheese and the shake was thick, but drinkable through a straw. They also serve cold subs, burgers and wings. Overall, a surprising find that we'd definitely re-visit. It seems to be a popular place, since it was buzzing with people coming and going the entire time we were there. Because it was busy, it took a while to get our food, but it was worth the wait.

When we pulled into the parking lot, we wanted to second guess our decision. You won't be blown away by the building, location or the interior ambiance.However, the service was welcoming as soon as you walk in. This is definitely a locals place.The pancakes & beef scramble were good. Pricing is very reasonable.Overall, it's a good place & worth a visit if you're in the area looking for breakfast.

Stopped in because it was close and open. The omelet was outstanding and fresh. The cheesy grits were great. Great southern flair. They provided a small piece of pumpkin pie with the check. It was one of the best pieces of pie I've had. They seem to be prolific bakers as there's a display case full of cakes and pies.
