We visited this restaurant based on its Tripadvisor reviews and also it was near to where we were staying. What a find! Our food was tasty and fresh, the service was excellent and our waitress spoke good English. We tried both the specials of sea bream and mussels. The bream was fantastic although I probably would have preferred a different accompaniment than the spinach and boiled potatoes. The mussels were very good too. It was definitely our best meal in Pula. We took the takeaway menu with us and ordered pizza a couple of days later. The gamberi pizza was the best Pizza I have ever had. Superb! This is my first tripadvisor review and I am more than happy to recommend Papillon.

Although the ambient is not as i expected, the food is decilious.Service was very professional and sencire.We had different a la art main courses (fish filet and veal) both very very tasty.The chocolote cake was perfect!Prices are slightly above expected but the taste was very nice.Complements to mr Zembo, legendary chef!

We stopped here on a Monday night about 9 p.m. and the place was crowded - lots of outside seating. The waitresses were friendly and helpful and in spite of the fact they were busy our order was taken quickly and drinks served within a few minutes. My wife and I had veggie burger and chips which was basic but ok. Far from gourmet dining but at about 24â¬/£ for 2 with soft drinks certainly value for money. Perfectly adequate portion sizes which didn't leave you feeling overful. Average to good overall.
