Our property just got a new owner. He has redone the whole outside of this complex and the inside of a few of our shops. Come and check us out.

I went here for breakfast and had the home style omelet. The omelet was great and so were the potatoes and biscuit I got with it. One thing I love is their coffee bar. You help yourself to unlimited coffee and water and also get your own utensils. I really wish every casual eatery would follow this method. I personally think it makes life easier one the staff and the customers alike. I will definitely come back. Friendly staff, nice cozy atmosphere.

We wanted to explore new breakfast haunts and found Westwind. We weren't too sure upon arrival, but we reminder ourselves that we don't know what is to be offered unless we try it. Boy, we were happy we went in. The place was warm and cozy, and the waitress was pleasant and prompt. We sat in the back room, and realized the warm cozy part came from a rather loud overhead heater, bit it was tolerable. Our food was basic breakfast fare. The food was very tasty, and the portions were quite large, so we didn't leave hungry. We will return.

This restaurant is where most of the locals go, and is geared also toward the visiting fishermen. They open usually an hour before the boats leave; call the day before and find out what specific time the door opens (it varies, depending on which fishery is going on in town: figure somewhere around 5am during the Westport fishing season, March-September). Ask for 'grampa's special' for a quick easy starter for your day. Expect it to be busy during fishing; grab a menu and have your meal planned by the time the waitress gets there! This is also a great place to order your 'boat lunch:' the sack lunch you take with you on the boat that day. You can stop by the afternoon before your trip and order your lunch then.
