A 1950's styled diner and restaurant offering great customer service, fast cooking times, real home cooked meals, beer, wine, and low prices
This restaurant deserves its inclusion in the list of top RI diners. My wife and I recently enjoyed Cindy's twice within 6 days. I just tried another of their great sandwich plates, having had their Philly cheesesteak during the weekend before this one. This was very good, as was their pastrami this time. The pastrami was lean and delicious. This diner has a nice homey and well-maintained look. I especially like the good house wine at about 40 percent less than the standard price. This restaurant will definitely please the diner fan.Thank you for this wonderful review! We are so glad you and your wife enjoyed visiting us!

The Pleasant View Dinner in Smithfield was recently renamed Laura's Pleasant View Dinner. This place is an absolute must go to. Weather it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner the menu is loaded with old fashioned comfort food at it's best. Breakfast is served anytime and all the items are delicious, from the fresh fruit cups to the home baked beans, every item that comes out of the kitchen is like home made. They have daily specials that just cost $7.29. A full course turkey dinner, stuffed peppers, and country fried chicken, all served with farm fresh vegetables. The owner Laura puts her home spin on the place with her always friendly smile and for the regulars she knows what you want before you even sit down. Laura's Pleasant View dinner is a must do!

From lunch to late night, Rhode Island's original fast food favorite serving our famous hot wieners and coffee milk since 1946!
Have you been searching for an authentic American diner.....?Search no longer, 'cause this place has it all! Swivel stools and mismatched vinyl booths? (check) Tatooed fry cooks and servers with a thick local accent? (check) A questionable bathroom found only after navigating a maze of boxes through the kitchen? (check) A steady stream of regular, first-name-basis customers? (that, too) A menu full of greasy, cheesy, fatty, delicious indulgences? (most definitely!)We had the perfect diner experience at Olneyville New York System Restaurant, I only wish I had known to order a coffee milk. (The beverage selection is not posted, and I only learned about it after-the-fact.)
