After a coast-to-coast flight, got to Miami Beach and decided to have breakfast here. It was a bit before 7AM, not super early. Asked for various omelettes before understanding that they all contained bacon, at the moment not available. Ordered a steak omelette, asked for coffee, and went off to wash the public transport off my hands.Well-me-now, no soap in the dispenser in the restroom. I told a fellow counting money nearby, and he told me to talk to another fellow who referred it to another fellow, who went away for a couple of minutes and told me to get some from the unoccupied ladies' room. I considered checking to see whether it was re-filled during the time I was there, but really didn't want to know.Had to ask for coffee for a second time. Noticed then that the table top felt as if a jar of syrup had been spilled on it and cleaned off with dry paper towels. Just when I was starting to feel that the server was rather unattentive, the food came. It was good, and she brought me anything I asked for--a re-fill of water, another napkin--but it was a little tiresome to always have to ask. When the check came and I left my credit card out, it sat there for awhile until I decided to just pay at the cashier. They told me I had to wait for the server, and it seemed strange that I had to be borderline rude to get them to take my money so I could leave. That guy counting money at the table soon won't have much of it to count with this sort of monkey business going on.

Great spot for breakfast. They aren't reinventing the wheel here but do a great job with breakfast standards. We had eggs, toast, bacon, house potatoes, hashbrowns. All were good. Portions were substantial and service was efficient and friendly.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
I wanted to show kids a real American diner, a real american place, so the closest and the most familiar to me was Dennyâs and we decided to go there on one of the evenings. We walked in for a dinner. We were given a corner table and the kids were given papers and crayons to draw. But as soon as we got in, we we shocked. The place was so gloomy, so unpleasant and the smell was horrible. I thought we would fight it, maybe get used to the odor, but the faces of my three kids and an unhappy wife were telling me of total disapproval of my decision to go to Dennyâs. They were shocked and asked me not to stay in it and leave and find another place for dinner. Which I obliged to, as the smell was very difficult to survive in any circumstance, let alone while eating food. I think the restaurant is just old. Maybe not cleaned properly. Maybe the food is being prepared too close to the seatings and ventilation isnât working well. The smell was not food, it was something else that was not compatible with people with senses being in it. We left. We didnât see the menu, didnât order. So this review is based on the experience without actually trying the food. I just wanted to warn people- this place is to be avoided if you want to have a normal pleasant time while eating. I am shocked that other tables were occupied. People maybe finally got used to the smell or are fine with it. Until they clean and remodel the place, it needs to be said- it is awful.
