Good service and great food if you like down-home southern cooking. My wife and I both enjoy the vegetable plate very much with mustard greens, cabbage, pinto beans and mashed potatoes and gravy along with a nice little church of fresh corn bread. Another visit i had the shrimp and crawfish Ãtouffée which I enjoyed very much, a little spicy, which I like.Nothing fancy in the tables, chairs or plastic plates and dinner wore, but the food is great.

Great breakfast and plate lunches, usually. CFS is a frozen prebreaded, I think. Below par for SE Texas. Other its can be good. Service is just okay.

Our first visit for lunch we were impressed. Need more places like this. Old school restaurant... the food was fantastic... and the service was good. We want to try the breakfast now. Top-notch place!
