Hyde's has been in this location since 1946! Despite being 73 years old, the restaurant is very clean and looks new while maintaining it's '40s-'50s vibe. My husband and I loved our breakfasts-eggs, bacon, potatoes, and bottomless coffee- served just like it was in diners of old. The food was beautiful prepared, fresh, served quickly, and the coffee kept coming. I can't eat gluten and told my server. She made certain there was no bread on my plate, double checking after it was served. Toast or biscuits were included in this breakfast, but we opted out. We will be back! This is our new favorite breakfast joint. How did we miss it all these years?

We ate lunch at Kostas Restaurant for the first time today on the recommendation of a friend. The food is good and basic, just what you would expect at an authentic 50's style diner. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly and attentive. Contrary to what you might have read previously, they do now (and for the past year) accept credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, and Discovery but not Amex). Will definitely return. You can park along the street in front but bring quarters for the meter.
