We are the ugly diner near Canal Rd and Tacky Jacks. We are NOT the shiny silver diner near the beach. The only thing promised here is a great meal and adequate service.

This location has been plagued with one failed restaurant after another...until The Diner. Good selection of food at a reasonable price. Breakfasts are very nice with a good atmosphere. The negative aspect of this restaurant is that the word is out. Snow birds love it in the winter and in the summer, the rest of the year, locals. Good reference!

What a place! First the food and service:We came for lunch yesterday and breakfast today. Todayâs waitress was Shishana, wearing a bright flowery dress and, like the other female servers, red lipstick. The food is plentiful and top quality. Children had pancakes and bacon - good bacon! My GF had eggs Benedict and I had corned beef hash. I asked if these could be made without red and green peppers and that was no problem. There is a great atmosphere with happy servers and Rock N Roll music serenading everyone. Then the place itself:A BIG restaurant! Everything is shiny chrome and white paint and lots of light. It is spotless too. Every morning at 1:00 a team comes in to clean the place and shine the chrome, inside and out, and it shows. I really really love this place and happily give it five stars. Wow! We are just shook up to hear you had such a wonderful time with our cool cat Shushana! We love that you noticed our attention to detail and we absolutely praise our fantastic cleaning crew that keep our place spotless for all our guest! It's a real team effort! Thanks for stopping by! We visited based on previous reviews. This place was just ok, nothing really to make you want to come back. Our party had a variety of things including eggs, biscuits and gravy, omelet, waffles, & farmers hash/skillet. Coffee was just ok. Waffles were tasty and crispy (not soggy). Everything else was unremarkable. Service was friendly!
