It is part of the Pascagoula Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 18,572 at the 2010 census. In 2002, Gautier annexed land nearly doubling its population to 18,413 by 2010, according to the Gautier Comprehensive Plan 2030.

We travel a lot & my husband could easily live on WH food alone, so we tend to frequent them everywhere we travel. This is by far our FAVORITE WH. I am annoying when it comes to ordering things at WH because the amount of oil & grease they cook with really upsets my stomach and they ALWAYS accommodate my requests. No eye rolls or sighs, they are understanding & kind. Aside from that, the food is the same as any other WH, no better, no worse but it's the employees that make this location our absolute favorite. Mollie, Kelli, Q & Pam are absolute sweethearts; we look forward to seeing them. James & Keith are the BEST cooks around...very talented guys. That group is a true asset to WH. Wonderful people who have truly made us feel welcome.

Went for lunch. First impression was the prices were a little higher than I expected. The high price was justified when I rec'd my order of fish & chips (both on quality and quantity). Big pieces of cod with a side of fries. Both hot from kitchen (not sitting under the heat lamps like a lot of places). I wound up taking some home. Sort of got a 'meal and a half' for the price. Service was attentive. There was a small problem with my original order, which the server made right pretty quickly. I'd certainly go back.

I picked up a to-go order for my fiancé and I to take back to our hotel room across the street late one night. The food was your standard waffle house late-night food (Completely delicious.). The service that I got from the cook and the server was great. They constantly joked with me and talked about our escape from Hurricane Irma. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely be stopping there late-night. :-)
