Nice family diner on Hempstead turnpike, parking area. We had the French toast which was good, also 2 eggs with potatoes and toast, which was good. Also we had orange juice and tomato juice, with coffee, we enjoyed our breakfast. Not a bad price 20 dollars with tip. Good service also.
Fresh new spot on Main. This morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Whiskey Down. This place is a gem. CLEAN. Outdoor seating, excellent lunch options, gluten free and vegetarian dishes. Lunch menu and late night menu diner but feels like a bright charming cafe. D was our server, she is excellent. So excited about this great little. Little wait but it went quickly and you can always be seated at the counter. D makes an amazing Egg Cream

best thing about Villiage Kitchen for me is that the food is fresh. I eat Greek salads in most diners, this is my favorite. They use romaine lettuce. The seasoned hand cut fries are at the top of my list as well. Their Greek lemon soup is down right addictive (note not the traditional creamy kind) way less calories. Try the chocolate chip cookies, not your run of the mill diner cookie. Owners dad comes in every morning and makes the cookies and soup. wait staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Could be a tad bit warmer in the summer. If you like air condition fine otherwise bring a sweater. prices are great
