This is an established cafe that recently changed owners. It is the kind where local "civic" leaders meet on Saturday mornings.

Went to Eggington's for Breakfast late on a Saturday morning. There was a short wait to be seated during which we were able to look over a menu. And the choices sounded very god. After being seated our server arrived within a reasonable time and took our drink orders - two coffees and waters. It did take a little longer for those to arrive and the server apologized, but she immediately excused herself to greet customers at another table. But she soon was back and took our breakfast order.I ordered a "Homemade Chorizo Hash" with eggs and an english muffin. My SO ordered a "Traditional Eggs Benedict." During the wait for food, we had to flag down the servet for more coffee. When the food arrived it looked great, but after digging in there were some issues. My food was a fairly spicy Chorizo cooked with hashbrown potatoes topped by two eggs. While it was good, the hash could have used some grilled onions and bell peppers to put it over the top. The error on my order was the english muffin was a little under-toasted and not warm enough to melt the butter. Relatively minor. My SO's Benedict was another story. The poached eggs were very over cooked and the consistency of hard boiled eggs. We called the server over, she took away the dish and a few minutes later the manager came to our table to apologize and assure us the dish would be right out. I continued eating and finished my meal before the Benedict made it back to the table. This time the eggs were cooked correctly but like mine the muffin was also somewhat under-toasted, but edible, and the Canadian Bacon was very thick and not grilled. My SO didn't like the bacon and it was removed from the plate and not eaten.Overall I enjoyed my meal and my SO eanjoyed what she eventually ate, but not enough for either of us to want to return. The food brought to other diner's tables looked good, so maybe our issues were an aberration, but there are too many other places to get breakfast and this one is outside our normal stomping grounds, which is the main reason we probably won't try again.
Good food served by friends in a small diner no one is a stranger!!!
Great food, friendly service, convenient location... We highly recommend the burritos, always excellent! Whatever happens to be the special of the day is very good and the burgers are pretty good.A note to the management, please turn up the a/c if possible. I know these Oklahoma summers can be smoking hot, but the restaurant was a little too warm for the seniors in our group...
