This is the first Waffle House that I have visited that has not had a "Waffle House" imprinted in my Waffle. What's going on? Plus it was a bit on the soggy side, even though I asked for a crispy waffle. Place was clean, the staff friendly and it appeared that mostly locals were eating there as they all knew each other and the staff.

We like finding local restaurants, especially for breakfast. This one was a great find. The service was true southern hospitality and the food was plentiful and delicious. We got the big breakfast, split the busicuts and gravy that came with it (filled the whole plate) and then could not resist their pumpkin pancakes. They were like eating true cake with syrup. YUM.The final great surprise was how affordable it all was, a ton of food and very inexpensive. We cannot wait to come back again and maybe even try their lunch or dinner menu which looked really good too.

Interesting to find. It is attached to a gas station and a taco bell. Hubby is like - are you sure? Very close to I-81 which is why I picked it. Let's go. Coffee was good and HOT. Careful! I had the sausage (which was reviewed here) and eggs and it was very good. But I also got the hashbrowns and did them western style. It should be noted I normally ignore the hashbrowns but I finished the plate! And I would go back for more. Hubby did a Country Boy Omelet and barely finished it. The country gravy was awesome! Our waitress (Samantha) was really great. My sausage came out a little looking undercooked and she sent it back. I'm sure it was done, but we both just wanted some browning on it. When you check out, they do ask if you want a coffee (or whatever you are drinking) to go.
