Voted Best Breakfast of the Wiregrass 2015, Ray's Restaurant is a family-style restaurant known for its down-home breakfasts and satisfying country lunches. We just may have the best burgers in town, as they are hand-patted and seasoned to perfection, and
After driving by countless times we stopped there for breakfast, good food , huge portions(you might want to opt for the smaller portion if offered). Kind of place that attracts a lot of repeat locals, think " Cheers" but a breakfast/lunch crowd. They even call out a warning when breakfast is about to be over, Nothing fancy about this place but you will get a good meal at a reasonable price

Great place for breakfast. We'll have to come back for lunch someday. The menu looked great.breakfast was huge. Coffee was a little weak but so am I sometimes. Had chicken fried steak and eggs with home-fries. Home-fries are seasoned nicely. others had an omelette and corned beef hash. Did I mention they were all huge? Also got a biscuit with gravy, just in case.Staff were excellent, checking in several times without being pushy. Food was fresh and hot, and didn't take too long to get there.i don't know why i haven't come here sooner. See you next time.

We usually stay in Hampton Inns but this time I was persuaded to step it up a notch and try a Hilton Gardens facility. Much to our surprise, there was no 'free' breakfast. So...higher cost...less bang for the buck, at least for the casual traveler. We had to find somewhere to have breakfast! So we left the hotel, looking for a Waffle House. We regard this chain as a faithful standby for us when weâre on a road trip. Itâs all about the basics! Laurie had crispy hash browns (cooked right), 2 perfectly fried over-easy eggs, toast and bacon. I decided to try something a little different. This is the Sausage, Egg and Cheese Melt with a side of those terrific crispy hash brown potatoes. We both had a large glass of orange juice (Huge!) with our breakfast. The bill with tip and tax was just over $20.00â¦The key to any successful business is competent management. However, the other key to success at Waffle House is an efficient grill master/short order cook! The fellow working the grill at this Waffle House was a master of efficiency. He functioned with no wasted motionsâ¦3 or 4 things in process without missing a stroke. I told him that I admired his skillâ¦and we're pretty sure that he blushed. Skill like that deserves praise!
