This is a hometown restaurant and seems to have been here forever. The food is what I would consider country cooking. I ordered a four vegetable plate and cost around $6.00. I don't think you can get fast food this cheap and the best part is the food is healthy. I look forward to eating here more often.
Where to eat Fast Food food in Cleveland: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Waited forever to get waited on, forever for food to come, then got bad, cold, undercooked food. Fried jumbo shrimp consisted of five small shrimp like a childâs portion. Baked sweet potato was only a half portion and only half baked...still hard. Bread like item was a mystery. Was it a roll, biscuit or what...more like a hockey puck in size and hardness. Fries were cold and limp. Wanted to complain but husband said letâs just go and never return.

I ended up at the Waffle House for dinner as downtown Travelers Rest restaurants were very busy and this was close to the hotel.Having never been to a Waffle House before I wasn't sure what to expect. It is basically a diner. It wasn't really clean and tables hadn't been cleared. I went with the All Star Breakfast to get a bit of all of the food offered even though I knew I wouldn't eat it all.It came with eggs, bacon, grits, toast and a really thin waffle. I've never seen a waffle so thin before. The bacon tasted like onions as it must have transferred from the grill. I hate onions so that is not good. Service was pretty much nonexistent. It did get very busy but the waitress forgot to bring food out to some of the tables so it was likely cold by the time they got it.This isn't a place I'd eat again.
