I was GRANDPAcking in Boquete for 2.5 weeks.The Sabroson is said to be one of (if not THE) cheapest places to eat.I had a meal there on my first night for US$3.25.A simple Breakfast with scrambled egg, cheese, and bread costs US$2.35.Definitely a good place for a cheap feed ... But, you get what you pay for

I've eaten here 3 times in the last 3 months. It was a good location for meeting a group of friends, mainly because it has parking and the location avoids the torn up roads in downtown Boquete. It's inexpensive food; its fine for the price paid; the service is a OK. It's convenient but there are places in Boquete with better quality food.Thanks for your coments. Our concept is as a Cafeteria not a Restaurant. As you mention about the quality, we select a quality and healthy products with non expensive price.

La Karetta is a great local place for a basic breakfast - service is decent, and the food is good but basic. We have not tried them for lunch, but enjoy the spacious seating and generous portions.
