I'm going to say this is my #1 restaurant in Marshall County. As amazing as the food is, the service was better. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Sweet tea, bluegill, baked potato, salad, banana split pie...all was delicious! New owner is as nice as they come and stayed out front the whole time, but stayed out of the way at the same time. Can't wait to go back and try some more!!
Where to eat American food in Benton: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The food is good, the coffee is about the best I've ever had. Very reasonable prices. Service is quick and just the right amount of service if you need something and then leave you alone to enjoy your food and your companions, they don't linger at your table and try to schmooze you for a bigger tip, which I always hate. Usually quick refills on your coffee which is good because the cups are too small!! I like this particular local waffle house very much. I haven't been going there long but I already consider myself a regular which is a nice feeling. If the service is good, and it usually always is, I quietly leave a tip equal to my bill. The servers are usually hard working, very nice people.
It reminded me of a really clean Eat Right diner. Prices are really high on some things and really low on others. All in all we had a family of 5 who ate for under $40 and all left full and happy. I would defiantly eat here again next time we are at lake KY.
