Reviews on Deli food in Tromso, Northern Norway, Norway. The fjords and mountain ranges of Tromso are simply magical. Here, the northern lights sparkle across the same navy blue sky that's illuminated by the midnight sun. You'll be spellbound by Tromso's enchanting fishing villages, fragrant botanical gardens and crystalline waterfalls. Music is a major part of the Tromso culture, particularly techno and electronic music, which adds some thumping thunder to the city once a year during the annual Insomnia Festival.

Specialist in food from the arctic climate. One part restaurant, open for lunch during daytime and dinner in evenings. Other part delicatessen open during the day, with local fish and meat. Best food souvenirs from the Arctic climate.
The last visited restaurant but what a choice.Stunning food accompanied by excellent wines in a relaxed environment. The lady that served us obviously knew what she talked about.Great service and definitely a place to remember. Thanks for the wonderful food, wine and advice. The prices seem to be normal for the Nordics.

Walking around Tromso last week looking for a quick lunch. The tomato soup was perfect. Both staff members took great care in explaining took care explaining why the soup wasn't truly vegetarian and we had a nice conversation with one of those helpful ladies while we ate. Great place to check out for a quick bite and/or coffee.

Welcome to our new restaurant in the heart of Tromsø city centre. A delightful place to eat in Tromsøs architectural diamond Kystens Hus- and a combination of good-dining and lovely scenery charm as rated by our diners. Proving to be a hit with our guests
We had been left at a loose end in Tromso and decided to wander round to find something to eat. We saw this place and it looked very nice, although not many people inside. We decided to give it a go. It seemed quite expensive, but then everything in Norway is more expensive. My husband likes steak but bravely tried the reindeer steak while I ordered the seafood platter. Our waitress was very sweet. We were brought a bread basket and water which was very welcome. The food looked amazing when it arrived - my seafood platter was enormous. Something I wasn't expecting was for the scallops to be raw...never had that before. I did eat them with some trepidation and they were clearly extremely fresh, but I would have preferred them cooked. The King Crab was absolutely amazing - so much meat on it and no fiddling about with claw crackers or anything messy. Fabulous. My husband enjoyed his reindeer steak but not as much as a beef steak...the texture was hard to describe and nothing like the texture of any meat we are used to. We shared dessert and it was very nice. The service was good, my only criticism was that when served coffee, I had to ask for milk and then ask for sugar which was a bit annoying considering there were only three tables of people to serve. We were also a little shocked to see the suggested service charge was 25 per cent! Never seen that before and it made the meal terribly expensive to add on 25 per cent. We did not leave 25 per cent but left more than we would normally have done as a tip - and I think we are normally very fair at tipping since I used to be in the service industry. Overall though, I would say it was all very good and we did enjoy it .Thanks for the review. About suggested service charge. There is no such thing. I honestly dont understand where you have got that information. Clearly not on the menu and hopefully not from the waiter. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Welcome back
