Das subway liegt direkt neben der Metro. Hier kann man sich die bekannten sub´s kaufen und die dann am Strand verzehren.Das Lokal ist normaler subway-Standard und das Personal ist nett.

Mill Basin Kosher Deli

We overrate. We always do with this style of menu - a big menu New York deli. First there were the bottomless half-done and full-sour pickles and slaw. Then the endless menu. R. picked the table winner, a big Reuben sandwich. J and I had a pretty good pastrami, and S had a winner loaded hot dog. We had fries. And the original item was a big plate of latke fries. Stunning menu item with a big serving of apple sauce. That was gone in seconds. We loved this place.

Jay & Lloyd's Kosher Deli

We have eaten at many a legitimate Jewish deli, and feel perfectly comfortable saying that many have earned their reputation for brusque service served alongside the pickles, pastrami and chopped liver. But if you're looking for short-tempered servers along with your schmaltz, Jay & Lloyd's Kosher Deli is absolutely NOT the place for you. This place is run by a mensch who is passionate about making his customers happy, along with serving superb, iconic deli fare. We're from Cherry Hill, NJ - we know excellent kosher deli, and this definitely fit the bill. Jay & Lloyd's was recommended to us by a trusted friend who knew we were looking for a good spot for lunch as we brought the whole mishpuchah to Brooklyn to celebrate my mom's 80th (she was born in Manhattan Beach, and we brought her back to visit her old home and hangouts.) I had called and spoken to Lloyd, who assured me that he would hold a table for our large group and treat us well. When we walked in we were treated warmly by the staff and the owner himself. In fact, as soon as we got ourselves settled he brought out a tray of appetizers for the group, as well as putting a special plate of latkes in applesauce in front of my mom, with the latkes shaped like the number 80! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was great, the service was warm, and the entire staff seemed delighted to be participating in our family celebration. Thank you to all. We will be back when we're in the neighborhood again!
