Reviews on Deli food in Lexington, Massachusetts, United States. Before the morning mist had broken at dawn on April 19, 1775, shots rang out over Lexington, Massachusetts, signaling the beginning of the American Revolution. More than two centuries later, the town boasts a proud patriotic heritage, reenacting the Battle of Lexington and Concord and Paul Revere's Ride every April. Totally enjoyable experience, but there were a few service mishaps. Went with a small business group and all of the dishes from the kitchen were wonderful, those that came out. We had two instances where items were ordered, but the server never put them in with the kitchen, and of course we didn't realize until dishes were missing. Cocktails were good, although a bit pretentious. Atmosphere was cozy headed a bit more toward local pub than upscale dining. The Peking Duck rolls were a terrific starter.

Everyone who lives in Winchester knows about D'Agostino's Delicatessen. There is another location in Arlington, but Winchester residents prize our D'Ags. The place had recently expanded and is usually full of hungry people. They have added wine and other items since they doubled in size. They cater dinners for home parties and local groups. You can't go wrong with food from D'Agostinos. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable and the food is varied and always fresh. I recommend them to everyone. They have been a hometown treasure for many long years. This is not a restaurant.

With the expansion of the deli, there has been added a sizable wine section. The variety and pricing are very attractive, among whites, reds, and roseâs. There is even a separate checkout counter, so that one doesnât have to wait long if the wine is what youâve come for. As always, the staff, led by Ralph, are affable and friendly. More than ever, itâs a pleasure to shop here.
